Paweł Borto, prezbiter diecezji kieleckiej. Ur. w Busku-Zdroju w 1969 r., studia specjalistyczne z teologii fundamentalnej ukończył w KUL w 2003 r. obroną pracy doktorskiej pt.: „Tradycja a Objawienie w teologii Yves’a Congara i Henri de Lubaca” napisanej pod kierunkiem ks. prof. dr. hab. Mariana Ruseckiego. W latach 2003-2008 był redaktorem prowadzącym „Niedzielę Kielecką” (dodatek diecezjalny do tygodnika „Niedziela”) i od 2003 r. rozpoczął wykłady w WSD w Kielcach. W 2009 r. został zatrudniony w Instytucie Teologii Fundamentalnej KUL (obecnie Sekcja Teologii Fundamentalnej na Wydziale Teologii KUL) i pracuje na stanowisku adiunkta w Katedrze Chrystologii i Eklezjologii Fundamentalnej KUL. W 2021 r. habilitował się na podstawie rozprawy: "Magisterium Kościoła w sporze z modernizmem o fundamenty wiary. Analiza poglądów A. Loisyego, E. Le Roy i G. Tyrrella i ich ocena w świetle dokumentów antymodernistycznych oraz Vaticanum II".
Jest członkiem Stowarzyszenia Teologów Fundamentalnych w Polsce, kierownikiem oddziału PTT w Kielcach, członkiem European Society for Catholic Theology.
Paweł Borto, priest of the Diocese of Kielce. Born in Busko-Zdrój (Poland) in 1969, specialized studies in fundamental theology supplemented at the Catholic University of Lublin in 2003 with the defense of a doctoral thesis entitled: "Tradition and Revelation in the theology of Yves Congar and Henri de Lubac" deepen under the direction of Fr. prof. dr. hab. Marian Rusecki. In the years 2003-2008, he was the managing editor of 'Niedziela Kielecka' (a diocesan supplement to the weekly 'Niedziela') and from 2003 he was a lecturer at the WSD in Kielce. In 2009 was employed at the Institute of Fundamental Theology of the Catholic University of Lublin (currently the Section of Fundamental Theology at the Faculty of Theology of the Catholic University of Lublin) and works as an assistant professor at the Chair of Christology and Fundamental Ecclesiology of the Catholic University of Lublin. In 2021, he habilitated based on the dissertation: "The magisterium of the Church in the dispute with modernism about the foundation of faith. Analysis of the thought of A. Loisy, E. Le Roy and G. Tyrrell and their assessment in the light of anti-modernist documents and Vatican II".
He is a member of the Association of Fundamental Theologians in Poland, head of the PTT branch in Kielce, and a member of the European Society of Catholic Theology.
