The aim of this collection is to showcase state-of-the art developments and interdisciplinary research related to tractography as highlighted during the inaugural 2024 Tract-Anat Retreat. This retreat ambitioned shaping the future of tractography towards a more accurate and reliable representation of brain anatomy useful for neuroscience and medicine. It brought together 46 world-leading experts in the fields of tractography, neuroanatomy, and neurobiology to discuss and explore approaches to advance the field of tractography. This collection provides a platform to disseminate the knowledge and discussions conveyed at the retreat and beyond.
