Lasers in Medical Science

We are pleased to announce that Lasers in Medical Science (LIMS) will become a fully open access (OA) on 1 January 2026. As a result, all submissions received from 5 August 2025 are subject to an article publication charge (APC) if accepted and published in the journal (unless a waiver is applied). Lasers in Medical Science (LIMS) is the leading international journal in the rapidly expanding field of medical and dental applications of lasers and light.

• It provides a forum for the publication of papers on the technical, experimental, and clinical aspects of the use of medical lasers.

• Applications include lasers in surgery, endoscopy, angioplasty, hyperthermia of tumors, and photodynamic therapy.
