BMC Research Notes

Publishing model:
Open access

Overview

BMC Research Notes is a forum for micro publication across all scientific disciplines - physical, earth and environmental, engineering, biological and health sciences.  We believe simple but sound observations deserve a platform. Our notes are quick to write, fast to publish and enables you to get credit for work which was previously hidden. The same innovative spirit drives us to publish data notes helping authors increase data discovery and usability and to comply with funder policies. This journal is part of the BMC series, publishing peer reviewed scientifically valid observations and data descriptors that many other journals won’t consider.

  • A unique forum for micro publications and data sets across all scientific disciplines
  • The ideal forum for single observations, null results, replication studies and data notes
  • High visibility, open access, broad and inclusive.
