Advanced Metamaterials

Advanced Metamaterials is an Open Access journal which publishes broadly on the topic of metamaterials, which are receiving a great deal of attention worldwide for their wide variety of applications and boasting a large degree of multifunctionality.

The journal welcomes a variety of original articles and review papers discussing the application of metamaterials, including but not limited to:

• Life science applications to provide greater understanding of biological systems, disease detection, or regenerative medicine
• Medical applications, such as sensing and stents, bio-interfaces, nanosensors, drug development
• Engineering/design focus, such as materials science, meta-surfaces, multifunctional interfaces, plasmonic metamaterials, optics, chirality, light manipulation

Please be aware that, while the journal welcomes the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in large data set analysis and in the design and understanding of complex materials, the journal does not accept articles written solely by AI or the use of AI to design materials, without the materials being reduced to practice.
