The Journal of Economics is a renowned academic journal publishing scholarly research in all fields of economics.
- The long tradition of the journal began in Vienna in 1929 as the “Zeitschrift für Nationalökonomie”. Since 1986 it is named Journal of Economics.
- The papers focus on both macroeconomics and microeconomics (often with a theoretical/ mathematical focus).
- Econometric case studies of general interest are also welcome.
- Regular online collections address topics of central importance, both to present economic reality and to modern theoretical research.
