Each indoor cage for guinea pigs comes with a handy coroplast base, the perfect match for the comfiest piggy bedding there is: a fleece liner! Give your piggies even more room to run around with a spacious loft and ramp that allows them to safely explore every inch of their home. The height of the loft ensures that even when your piggy is enjoying the view, they’re not at risk of falling out of their cage. Safety is always the priority! By adding a stand to your guinea pig cage, you’ll never spook them by reaching out for them from above - something that adds a significant amount of stress! Plus, it adds extra storage space to keep all of your piggies’ things nearby and decorate their palace with our fun patterns. Just assemble the grids or panels together using connectors and ties. As for the plastic base in coroplast, with its pre-cut locking slots, it can easily be assembled by folding the corners and inserting the hooks in the slots. No tool or tape is required for assembly. CARING INSTRUCTIONS Kavee C&C cages can be cleaned simply and quickly with the following steps: 1. Remove your pets from the cage then scoop up any poops and remove any other waste. 2. Remove the dirty bedding and clean the coroplast sheet with a damp sponge and piggy-safe cage cleaner. 3. Dry your coroplast with a cloth. 4. Set up your cage again! CONTENT This C&C guinea pig cage set contains wire grid panels, clear panels (if opted for the clear version), connectors, and all the corrugated plastics required for this model. Grid Version: 41 modular grids, 2 door grids, 54 connectors, 1 nibble guard, 5 cable ties, 1 correx base, and 1 correx loft. Clear Version: 37 modular grids, 4 clear panels, 2 door grids, 54 connectors, 1 nibble guard, 5 cable ties, 1 correx base, and 1 correx loft. Extras with Lid: 6 grids, 2 door grids, 9 connectors. Please note that the lid for the Lilac and Mint grids comes in white. MATERIALS Powder coated steel grids (eco & pet friendly paint), ABS (Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) connectors, plexiglass panels, transparent PVC nibble guard, corrugated polypropylene (coroplast) base. PRODUCT DIMENSIONS The 5x2 C&C Guinea Pig Cage with Loft, Ramp & Stand is 68,9 x 27,6 x 27,6 inches (1.75 x 0.70 x 0.70 m). WARNINGS Make sure to remove the protective film from the clear panels before setting up the cage. While this cage is suitable even for baby pigs older than 8 weeks, make sure to test that it’s safe for the size of your pet as every piggy is different. The powder coating should not wear off with normal use (emptying the cage, changing the liner, your furry friends running into it). If your pet is very determined, they may chew off small parts of the coating, however, this is totally safe as it’s non-toxic. Most animals will not chew the coroplast sheet. If this happens, you must immediately prevent this behavior by covering the edge of the coroplast sheet, using a cloth, cardboard, or a nibble guard. Some animals sometimes need a little time to adapt to their new habitat and lose this bad habit after a while. We advise the use of a lid if you have young children, cats, or dogs. However, we do not guarantee the integrity of the lid in case of an attack by another animal. Never leave a dangerous animal unattended near your cage.
