UWU-Codec is both an executable binary that can be run, and a library that can be used in Rust programs.

Installing `uwudecode` `uwuencode` executables

Assuming you have Rust/Cargo installed, run this command in a terminal:

cargo install uwucodec

It will make uwudecode uwuencode commands available in your PATH if you've allowed the PATH to be modified when installing Rust. cargo uninstall uwucodec uninstalls.

Adding `uwucodec` library as a dependency

Run this command in a terminal, in your project's directory:

cargo add uwucodec

To add it manually, edit your project's Cargo.toml file and add to the [dependencies] section:

uwucodec = "0.1.1"

The uwucodec library will be automatically available globally. Read the uwucodec library documentation.

Motivation

Do you also think hexadecimal byte encoding is boring? Do you want more uwu in your life? This program solves both of your problems. Bytes are encoded into two words according to the following mapping:

Usage

Use the uwuencode and uwudecode binaries like this:

uwuencode path/to/raw/input path/to/encoded/output
uwudecode path/to/encoded/input path/to/raw/output

You can also use the functions in your project to spice things up:
