This crate requires a nightly (unstable, experimental) compiler version. To switch to it, you must have Rust installed via Rustup, and run:

rustup default nightly

Run rustup default stable to switch back.

Saber is both an executable binary that can be run, and a library that can be used in Rust programs.

Installing create_bedt estimate_g_gxg_heritability estimate_heritability estimate_multi_gxg_heritability generate_g_and_gxg_effects generate_gxg_bed get_snp_correlation_stats leave_one_chrom_out partition_by_chrom regress_out_covariates replace_missing_pheno_with_mean test_gg_trace_estimates executables

Assuming you have Rust/Cargo installed, run this command in a terminal:

cargo install saber

It will make create_bedt estimate_g_gxg_heritability estimate_heritability estimate_multi_gxg_heritability generate_g_and_gxg_effects generate_gxg_bed get_snp_correlation_stats leave_one_chrom_out partition_by_chrom regress_out_covariates replace_missing_pheno_with_mean test_gg_trace_estimates commands available in your PATH if you've allowed the PATH to be modified when installing Rust. cargo uninstall saber uninstalls.

Adding saber library as a dependency

Run this command in a terminal, in your project's directory:

cargo add saber

To add it manually, edit your project's Cargo.toml file and add to the [dependencies] section:

saber = "0.1.2"

The saber library will be automatically available globally.
