🔥 “The AI revolution will not happen on its own. It requires concrete action.” With this statement, Tomek Mrozowski, Investment Partner at MCI Capital, opens his expert commentary for ISBtech, in which he analyzes the findings of the latest “Top AI-Driven Companies in CEE” report co-authored by MCI Capital. Tomasz Mrozowski highlights that the global 🤖 AI revolution is accelerating at a pace we have never seen before. In the three years since the launch of ChatGPT, NVIDIA’s market value has surged by 1,000%, Meta by 500%, and Alphabet and Amazon by more than 100%. Worldwide, trillions of dollars are being invested into AI — while adoption in Poland remains far too slow, despite strong engineering talent and a handful of global innovators. ❗ The newest edition of the report makes one thing clear: Polish companies are adopting AI at an insufficient pace, facing barriers in infrastructure, capital availability, and organizational culture. Without decisive action, Poland risks losing momentum in the global digital economy. 💡 As Mrozowski emphasizes, if the country wants to seize this unique decade of transformation, it must increase investment, accelerate adoption, and embrace experimentation much more boldly. ✈️ eSky Group keeps accelerating — and the online travel market is moving faster than ever. 📍 One of the flagship digital travel platforms in Central Europe — and a portfolio company of MCI Capital — has just announced another major step in its growth. Puls Biznesu covers the details. Polish travelers are increasingly choosing short, spontaneous getaways: city breaks, long weekends, and quick escapes to warmer destinations. This trend continues to grow, and eSky’s results are rising with it. 📣 According to CEO Andrzej Kozłowski, the autumn–winter season is a “peak period” for the company. Short trips to Italy, Spain, Greece, Cyprus and Malta are booming, and the dynamic packaging segment is expanding the fastest. In 2025, eSky plans to serve 300,000 customers in dynamic packages — three times more than last year — with segment revenues expected to reach PLN 1 billion, including PLN 250 million generated by Polish travelers alone. And that's not all. Next year, eSky will introduce to the Polish market the travel products of Thomas Cook, one of the world’s most iconic tourism brands. ➡️ eSky is a strong example of how MCI Capital’s portfolio companies combine technology, scale and global ambition in sectors undergoing rapid digital transformation. The full Puls Biznesu article highlights why eSky is strengthening its leadership position in the region — and how the travel market is evolving in the era of smart, flexible tourism. #MCIcapital, #tourism, #travel https://lnkd.in/djyPe54G

In a conversation with Małgorzata Grzegorczyk from XYZ, eSky Group CEO, Andrzej Kozłowski, shared what our portfolio company managed to achieve in 2025, plans for the coming year, and his vision for the development of the tourism industry. 🧭 The CEO mentioned, among other things, that after 20 years of operating exclusively online, eSky is opening up to brick-and-mortar travel agencies. In the first quarter of 2026, the legendary Thomas Cook is returning to Poland 🇵🇱. After eSky Group acquired the British 🇬🇧 giant in 2024, the world’s oldest travel brand will once again sell Flight+Hotel packages in our country through physical agencies – via local agents. 🌴
🛫 eSky wlatuje do salonów! W I kwartale 2026 roku legendarny Thomas Cook wraca do Polski.

📣 “AI is accelerating faster than most companies can keep up.” The premiere of the “Top AI Driven Companies in CEE” report, co-authored by MCI Capital, highlighted just how rapidly artificial intelligence is reshaping competitive dynamics in the region. 🤖 “AI adoption is growing 20 years faster than the adoption of digital solutions two decades ago. This is a time of intense experimentation — and those who experiment are gaining advantages more quickly. These advantages may prove durable, because the scale of investment in AI is incomparable to the previous era of digital transformation,” said Tomek Mrozowski, Investment Partner at MCI Capital, during the report presentation at the Biznes Polska Świat Congress. 💡 He emphasized that the global AI race is accelerating at an unprecedented pace. Worldwide AI investments are expected to reach around USD 8 trillion over the next five years, while Poland — according to current declarations — plans to invest only PLN 10–15 billion. For comparison: France USD 111 billion, and the United States USD 423 billion this year alone. ❗ Despite Poland’s strong talent base of engineers and innovators, most companies still implement AI on a limited scale, often relying on foreign technologies. To fully leverage the potential of a data-driven economy, Polish businesses must accelerate automation, process transformation, and the development of proprietary AI capabilities. The “Top AI Driven Companies in CEE” report — prepared by MCI Capital, Bain & Company, PFR Ventures, and ART OF NETWORKING — is currently the most comprehensive analysis of AI adoption in the region, covering both quantitative trends and real-world implementations. #MCIcapital, #AI, #3BPS, #biznespolskaswiat

💡 “Technology is the answer to the demographic crisis,” emphasized Paweł Borys, Managing Partner at MCI Capital, during the debate “Poland as an Economic Powerhouse – Facts and Myths” at the Biznes Polska Świat Congress. He noted that although Poland is currently the fastest-growing economy in Europe and industry already accounts for 22% of GDP, the pace at which new technologies are being implemented remains insufficient. The level of robotization — only 78 robots per 10,000 employees, half the EU average and three times less than in Germany — is becoming a real constraint on productivity. An even greater barrier is the low adoption of artificial intelligence, with only around 6% of companies currently implementing AI solutions. According to Paweł Borys, in the face of an accelerating demographic crisis, technology is becoming essential for sustaining economic growth. A shrinking labor force will require a rapid increase in productivity — something achievable only through automation, robotization, and 🤖 AI-driven processes. 📣 “We have 5–10 years to make a technological leap. If we don’t, we will remain stuck at a lower level,” said Paweł Borys during the debate moderated by Zbigniew Jagiełło, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of MCI Capital. He emphasized that Poland’s future competitiveness will depend on the scale and speed of investment in modern technologies. #MCIcapital, #3BPS, #biznespolskaswiat
