On 20 November, the Faculdade de Ciências Humanas at Universidade Católica hosted the first edition of the Comunicação Interna Conference, an event dedicated to exchanging insights on the transformation of internal communication and its potential to foster more inclusive, transparent, and human-centred organisations. Jerónimo Martins was represented by Susana Albino, who participated in the final round table to discuss a central question: Is Artificial Intelligence the only innovation shaping Internal Communication? 💬 The event was organised by Observatório de Comunicação Interna (OCI), of which Jerónimo Martins is a proud member.

This was also the first time ever that a food retailer achieved a “Triple A” score worldwide. By achieving an A rating in all three dimensions assessed by CDP, the Jerónimo Martins Group joins the select group of 23 companies around the globe recognized with the highest score, positioning itself among the global leaders that demonstrate transparent and comprehensive reporting, mature environmental governance, and significant progress towards environmental resilience. “Into the Forest” was the theme of our 2025 Sustainability Conference. 🌳 Forests are crucial to life on Earth. They support the food systems we rely on, regulate the climate and provide livelihoods for millions of people. Yet, they face many threats. That is why, for our 2025 Sustainability Conference, we decided to step “Into The Forest”. On 22nd October, scientists, business leaders and environmental advocates gathered in Lisbon to explore the essential role of forests and the urgent need to protect them. Stefano Mancuso was the keynote speaker, joined by renown experts such as Michał Zasada and Mark Plotkin. Discussions included the role of food retailers, the importance of the entire value chain, sustainable approaches to producing essential commodities, and the critical need for regulation and conservation.
