NEWS/Upcoming Events …

 We are still racing all year at Hop Brook Lake.  The park is now closed for the season for drive in use and the park is only open to HMYC members for drive in use to sail under our Special Use Permit.  For Wednesday afternoon sailing and Saturday morning sailing you must be at the gate 1/2 hour before the scheduled sailing time.  We will unlock the gate for 5 minutes and we will all enter the park together at this time.  We will all have to exit the park at the same time.  This park will be locked at all other times.

We are sailing Solings on Wednesday afternoons (1:00-3:00) and alternating between DF95s and Stars on Saturday mornings (10:00-12:00).

The Club has seen a very substantial increase in sailing participation this season. Thanks to all that have joined us including a number of new members!  We are already looking forward to next season with hopefully continued growth and participation, especially with the new expanded season at Hop Brook.  If participation is good again, we are very open to having summer series racing again if that is what the membership wants.  Consider coming back or joining the HMYC and plan to have regular sailing on your schedule next season on one of the best RC sailing venues in the region!
