TRURL is a suite of desktop calculators with reverse Polish notation (RPN) written in Object Pascal. Additionally, it comes with a free reusable class library (RPN Engine) as a toolbox for creating your own calculator. TRURL is an acronym for "TRURL is a Reusable Universal RPN Library". HPN is a functional - as opposed to microcode - cross-platform emulation of a classic 1970s Hewlett-Packard scientific calculator for any command-line interface. Its operations completely model the historical and groundbreaking HP-35 series, and functions to support the HP-45 and the later HP-65, 67 and HP-15C are in the pipeline.

CIMA is a program that provides an easy way to calculate a diversity of body indexes related to the fat content and energy needs, providing a way to control our weight: 1 - Body Mass Index (BMI), including both the traditional and the new proposed formulas, and provides a classification of the results. The evaluation takes in account the age groups (adults, children and the elderly). 2 - Body Adiposity Index (BAI). 3 - Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) for Men and for Women. 4 - Body Fat Percentage (BFP). 5 - Total Daily Calories Needs based on the activity levels of the user lifestyle. The program supports 3 languages (English, European Portuguese and Brazilian Portuguese). IMPORTANT: CIMA works only with the International System of Units (SI). No other systems are allowed since SI is the standard one. CIMA may still require a depuration before becoming a mature program, but it is already functional and may be downloaded by anyone.

The Forestry Commission and Natural England commissioned a bespoke data collection and presentation tool for calculating the potential for increasing the extent of tree cover across the north west of England. The data was divided into sub-regions by landscape type using Natural England's Character Area classifications. The potential within each of these Character Areas was then estimated by working groups of local experts who were capable of making reasoned assessments of both the opportunities and constraints to woodland creation. Subsequently, this project was considerably extended and adopted as a national system. It is currently being used to compile the National Woodland Potential dataset for the whole of England.
