SWIG is a software development tool that connects programs written in C and C++ with a variety of high-level programming languages. tmux is a terminal multiplexer
tmux is a terminal multiplexer: it enables a number of terminals to be created, accessed, and controlled from a single screen. tmux may be detached from a screen and continue running in the background, then later reattached. This release runs on OpenBSD, FreeBSD, NetBSD, Linux, OS X and Solaris. tmux depends on libevent 2.x, and on ncurses. To build tmux, a C compiler (for example gcc or clang), make, pkg-config and a suitable yacc (yacc or bison) are needed. Some platforms provide binary packages for tmux. -

Its main advantages over similar tools are that PyInstaller works with any version of Python since 2.3, it builds smaller executables thanks to transparent compression, it is fully multi-platform, and uses the OS support to load the dynamic libraries, thus ensuring full compatibility. The main goal of PyInstaller is to be compatible with 3rd-party packages out-of-the-box. This means that, with PyInstaller, all the required tricks to make external packages work are already integrated within PyInstaller itself so that there is no user intervention required.
