I am the not the same person.

I want to write a long and jam-packed review expressing my deep love for this game,
but I can't, I am speechless.
Like how I was at the end of episode 5, making my final choice, fully in tears. I have never felt such a deep personal connection to something let alone a game. As a huge fan of 'Choices Matter' games, I can say that this is one of the best from that genre, making your feel like you have an actual impact on the story. Unlike these other titles, where you feel like some choices have the same outcome no matter what you do, here they make sure that you know you made the right/wrong choice.
This game also has a great emotional impact, evident by the feeling of your choices mattering, unique four dimensional characters that tug on your heart strings and an overall amazing, well written story that will leave you in tears.
This game not only has done this but has changed my outlook on life. It has shown me how far my choices can lead me. It has shown me the chaotic nature of the butterfly effect and how real it can become. It has shown me to appreciate the things I have, the choices I have made.

It has shown me how this action has consequences.

What could be better than a teen and psychological drama with elements of sci-fi and thriller, which brings back a sense of nostalgia for many, like in their teenage years?

Life is Strange is about everyday problems, consequences, and family troubles, but most importantly, it touches on important topics such as bullying, depression, loss of loved ones, mental illness, and much more. While such a plot is considered cliché these days, for me, the story of each character in this game is deeply touching. I think many of us have encountered similar characters in our youth, which once again immerses us in the heavy realism.

Playing as the main character, Max, we briefly feel like observers, as her character is rather shy and friendly toward everyone. But later, Max becomes the center of attention, and many decisions, even the lives of her acquaintances, depend on her, a choice you must make yourself. We can understand a lot about her and her feelings about her classmates at the academy through her diary. In the context of what's happening, her peers and adults are divided into the quiet, modest, and calm, while others are bullies, more aggressive, and outspoken. But the main thing is that most of them reveal themselves in completely different ways, despite their typecasting.

For me, the most well-written character is Nathan. We see him as the clichéd, spoiled son of a rich father who, you could say, runs the school, allowing Nathan to break loose and behave as he pleases. We understandably harbor more negative feelings toward him, but when we consider his entire personality, including Before the Storm, he emerges in a different light. His father doesn't care about his mental health at all, putting pressure on him, so he finds a father figure in Jefferson, but Jefferson takes advantage of him, further destabilizing his psyche. Later, Nathan seems to experience redemption when he records a message to Max apologizing to everyone he's hurt and dies at Jefferson's hands... Nathan is just my son.

And for me, there's still an unbearably difficult choice between saving Chloe or Arcadia Bay. Chloe has experienced so much loss in her life and Max is the only one who remains so close to her, but the fact that we are depriving absolutely everyone in the city of life who also deserve better...
I just can't get past the end of this game.

Life is Strange is not only the most comfortable game in my experience, with its unique style, excellent soundtrack, and music that evokes nostalgic sadness, tenderness, and fun all at once, but also something worth reflecting on: the importance of living in the present and not dwelling on the past, living only on regrets, and, of course, that 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙚𝙦𝙪𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙨.

If you look at it objectively some elements seem weak and you would think it wouldn't work but the game has an X factor to it and it magically all fits together so well and neatly that its impossible to describe objectively.
