Just laying out ideas:

  • surfaces, provide 3 dimensions of data that define x, y, z positions
    • apply colormap on surface using 2 dimensions
    • apply a TextureArray on a surface (might be related to the previous point)
  • arbitrary polyhedron shapes
  • importing meshes and being able to programmatically change x, y, z, positions of the mesh?
