Anyways, while I usually talk about Israel, now Russia, and, admittedly tooting my own horn, being the best information aggregator and commentator on both, even I forget to mention Qatar.
Qatar is an authoritarian, Islamic fundamentalist regime that routinely goes against our interests, with one example being funding Deobandi Mosques in Europe, not to mention intentionally stirring up chaos. It’s rich when Qatari puppet organisations accuse people of Islamophobia, considering how the Qatari state adding fuel to the fires of chaos is actually killing Muslims.
But the United States Congress, along with the countries of Eurofighter GmbH (Germany, France, Spain, the United Kingdom, and Italy) let the Qatari government buy some of our very best weapon systems. The Qatar Emiri Air Force has the west’s state-of-the-art jet fighters, being the Boeing F-15QA and Eurofighter Typhoon, with the Dassault Rafale also being a pretty good Generation 4.5 jet fighter (Jet fighter generations #Classification - Wikipedia).
Neither the American government, nor to my knowledge the European governments downgraded the jet fighters that they allowed to be sold to Qatar. Even Russia downgrades its export weapons (obviously for strategic, not moral reasons). At least the United States Federal Government has declined sales of the Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II to Qatar (Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II procurement).
The Qatar Emiri Land Force possesses KraussMaffei Leopard 2A7+ main battle tanks and PzH 2000 self propelled howitzers. The Leopard 2A7 is in the top 3 for best main battle tank in the world, and the PzH 2000 is, hands-down, the best self-propelled howitzer in the world.
I really hope that Qatar does not blackmail the west by threatening to let Russian or Chinese military and intelligence officers and engineers look at these weapons, or worse, export these weapons to Russia or China the same way Israel sells American technology to China (Israel is not an American puppet.).
Some final commentary.
In America, support for Israel is now collapsing like a house of cards. The Chinese Communist Party has infiltrated the west largely through business and academia, and while Chinese Intelligence do have capable human intelligence programs, their psychological operations, specifically propaganda, is, with the exception of a couple of guys or so, is a complete joke. They have the budget, but not the talent, for psychological operations.
Russian Intelligence has, hands-down, the best psychological operations program in the entire world. Peter Zeihan has attributed this to being an empire that conquered dozens of other ethnic groups and get them and keep them under control.

Qatar, as far as I can tell, does not utilize intelligence agencies the same way that Russia or Israel does, instead, using Al Jazeera, funding radicals, and soft-power like sports and its airline. I know that both Russia and Israel both utilize troll farms (Why do kremlintarians exist? (with Roman Skaskiw), Israels Internet Censorship War), but I am not aware of Qatar utilizing troll farms. According to the Wikipedia article State-sponsored Internet propaganda, Qatar has used internet propaganda against Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, and vice-versa, but this is going to be exclusively or at least mostly on the Arabic side of the internet, not the Anglophone side of the internet.
As far as I can tell, on one hand, one strength Qatar has is that it has more soft-power on normies than Russia and is not sanctioned like Russia, and has not pushed away both informed dissidents and TikTok-addicted Zoomers alike like Israel has.
On the other hand, one weakness that Qatar has is that nobody truly loves Qatar, either. Qatar, not being a western-adjacent country like Russia or Israel, and probably lacking fine-talent in psychological operations, cannot cosplay as an ally to dissident movements the same way that Russia pretends to be a bastion of conservatism (An addendum to "stop idolizing russia" by NFKRZ) or an ally to the left against capitalism and western imperialism, nor can Qatar pull on the Holocaust and hide behind accusations of Antisemitism like Israel.
