iterrec performs iterative reconstruction of linear baryon acoustic oscillations (BAO) and linear initial conditions from clustered catalogs of objects. The code supports dark matter catalogs in real space and reconstructs the linear density field on a mesh using configurable smoothing kernels, displacement factors, and iteration settings. It can be run interactively in a notebook or from the command line, where it reports rms displacements and densities at each iteration step and writes reconstructed density fields, and optionally power spectra, to disk. The package depends on nbodykit (ascl:1904.027) and includes example scripts and SLURM job files for running reconstructions on large simulations and computing environments.
