Music Should Be Experienced Live
The Death We Seek
Last night Current’s The Death We Seek Tour came to Baltimore and I was lucky enough to have a front row seat. This was Currents first headlining tour in the US.
Foreign Hands opened the show. I absolutely love Bleed The Dream and the guys brought the energy from that ep to the stage. This is a band with a bright future.
Former podcast guest Marcus Vic and Invent Animate hit the stage next, kicking off their set with Shade Astray from the band’s latest album, Heavener. Heavener is still my favorite record that I’ve heard in 2023 and it was great seeing the band bring those songs to life.
Like Moths To Flames was the band I was least familiar with going into the night. I had picked up the band’s 2020 release, No Eternity In Gold, to jam before the show. The band’s set was absolutely vicious and I can’t wait to hear more new music from the band that’s hopefully coming later this year!
And of course, headlining and capping off an awesome night of music we had Currents! It’s great to see a band having a great time of stage and the crowd just giving them love back!
The best thing about seeing live music is getting to experience it with someone else close to you and so the best part of last night was being able to go to the show with my wife. She had never been to a hardcore or metal show before, and it was great to share that experience and part of my life with her!!! She even snagged the camera and took some photos!
Enjoy some more pictures of the show!
