Evil

There are no evil people in the world, just evil.
What people used to call the devil. 
Then we dropped the d, apparently. 
We should bring the devil back.
I don’t mean into this world. 
He’s already here.
I mean in the way we think of evil. 
We would have to be careful though
That the devil didn’t become a scapegoat,
Something to blame every time we did something evil. 
The devil made me do it. 
Maybe the word evil is fine, actually. 
We should probably leave the d off.
The devil loves a comeback.
