This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which the “Bit by bit developers” collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a “User”) of the “Bit by bit developers” Platform. This Privacy Policy applies to the “Bit by bit developers” and all Services offered on our Platform.

We may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users login to the website within the “Bit by bit developers” Platform, agree to receive a newsletter, and in connection with other activities, services, features, or resources we make available in our Platform. Public Projects

Depending on the plan users are able to create Projects on the Platform which may be accessible to other Users of the Platform or set to be publicly available to everyone on the internet. Users take full responsibility for the contents and quality of this material. All assets used in publicly accessible projects must be original - created by the User or User must have the right to use and publish such third party material. This also means that User agrees to share all material in public Projects under an MIT License. “Bit by bit developers” reserve the right to ban, delete Users or their projects entirely without the consent of the User if any violation to the Privacy Policy or Terms and Conditions would be detected.

When signing up to use the Platform users are asked to provide us with their public User name, which will be used on various material, including but not limited to Projects or assets, which User decides to be public, to identify the author. This public User name will also be accessible to others on the internet when browsing the material of the Platform.

Your right to access your information

If you are a registered user the information that we collect is accessible to you via our website portal. Visit the Profile page to see data we have about you on our database. Keep in mind that this information does not show all of the Google Analytics data or Stripe data that may also be personally identifiable.

Your right to rectification

If you are a registered user the information that you provide to use can be changed on your profile page except for your email address as that is used to identify you as unique user. If you want to use different email address with our platform you will have to delete your account and create new one with different email address.

Your right to restrict processing of your data

When no technical solution will be available you may also be advised to remove your account in order to achieve restrictions on processing.

Your right to erasure or right to be forgotten

We allow all of our users to easily delete their accounts and all related information. This also deletes your information from our payment provider Stripe and cancels your subscriptions to our plarform and services. Please visit Delete my Account page to delete your account. Please keep in mind that your data can live in our database archives for up to 5 years after your account deletion. These archives are not being used for any active processing or shared with third parties and are only used for legal purposes. Keep in mind that projects shared publically can be indexed by search engines and may require additional action to be removed. Contact us on [email protected] if you'd like us to try and initiate the process of removing your projects from search engines. Note that it is done on best effort basis and we cannot guarantee that it will be successful.

Your right to be informed

In case Privacy Policy or Terms and Conditions change substantially you will be informed via our website automatically about the changes. You will have to agree with the changes in order to continue the use of the platform. Keep in mind that you are also responsible to check the Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions regularly.
