The problem
The work that keeps needing you is not the work you are good at.
You run a small business. The jobs a bigger company would hire four people for all land on the same desk, and that desk is yours. The AI you have been offered so far is another window to keep open, another thing to check, and another bill. None of it knows anything about how your business actually runs.
It sits because the person who writes it is out doing the work. By the time it goes out, someone quicker has already been in the door.
Finished weeks ago. Everyone assumed someone else had invoiced it. Nobody had.
Signed at the end of the day whether or not anyone walked the site, because the honest answer is not one of the boxes.
It came in on somebody's phone, on a Saturday, and there was nowhere for it to go.
Every one of those is a job software could do properly. None of them gets fixed by another subscription with a chat box bolted on the side.
What we do
We build you one tool that does one job, properly.
Not a platform. Not a subscription with two hundred features you will never open. One tool, built around one job in your business, that does that job the way you would do it if you had the time.
We start by finding the job worth doing first, and we say so plainly if the honest answer is that software is not your problem. That happens, and it is a real answer, not a failed conversation.
Everything the tool does, you can see. Every decision it would rather make on its own, it brings to you instead. It drafts, you approve. It flags, you decide. That is not a setting we chose to be polite, it is how we build, and it does not change when you are not looking.
We do not have a product to sell you a licence to. We look at how your business runs and build for that.
Nothing goes out under our name. Nothing gets sent, signed, or committed to on your behalf. The tool prepares the work and a person you trust says yes.
Most software makes something up rather than admit a gap. Ours is built to say “not sure, look at this one.” The honest answer is a feature we pay for on purpose.
The kind of thing that comes out of it
Out on site, in the rain, with gloves on. It asks for the photo when the photo matters. It lets someone record that a check was not done, instead of forcing a tick that is not true. It builds the record as the work happens, so nobody is reconstructing a week on a Friday afternoon.
Not a chatbot bolted on your website for customers. A private one for your own people, with your name on it, that has read your procedures, your pricing, your job history and your paperwork, and answers the questions your team currently has to interrupt you to ask.
Yours will not be either of those, because your business is not either of those. That is the point.
The proof
We built ourselves an office of AI workers. It is what builds your tool.
We run our whole company on it, today. Planning, review, legal review, release, the written record of every decision, and this page. It is not a demo and it is not a pitch deck. It is how the work gets done here, and it is the reason a company this size can build you something this specific. That comes from 10+ years in AI and automation, and about five months building AI tools for a top tech company.
That office is our workshop. It is not what you buy. We do not install it in your business, we do not run anything of yours from it, and you will never have to learn it or look after it. A carpenter does not sell you his saw. You get the thing he made with it.
We are our own first customer. It is the one claim here that cannot be faked.
The workshop running live, on a call, not a recording and not a sandbox. Ask what it is doing right now.
A logo wall. We have not had a client yet, and we would rather say so than borrow someone else's credibility.
How it works
Identify → Improvise → Implement → Innovate
Fixed price in writing. Stop after any piece.
We start by naming the work that keeps needing your people — not by looking for jobs to cut. If software is not the problem, that is the finding and we will say it.
We shape one tool around that job. Easy to use. Something you can depend on. Built so your team gets time back.
We do the technical parts and put it on real work. You still decide what goes out. You will not have to become a technician to keep it running.
Once that piece is earning its keep, we build on it — only if you want the next one.
Start with Identify. Tell us what is eating your week.
We will help identify the pain points and whether a tool is even the fit. If it is something we can build, we will say so and set up a time to talk properly. If it is not, we will tell you that too.
We talk with a business before scoping anything. There is no checkout, no signup, and no automated onboarding. We are talking with businesses now and are not signing engagements yet. One person reads this inbox, so give it a day or two. You can also find us at @bufr_ai.
