FAQ
What is Clair?
Clair builds focused developer APIs over scattered public information. The catalog includes indexed editorial news and active job postings, plus live public search, publisher pages, Glassdoor listings, Trustpilot reviews, Product Hunt launches, and website contacts.
Which APIs are available?
Google Search, News, Jobs, Website Contacts, Trustpilot Reviews, Product Hunt, and the rest of the dashboard catalog share one key and credit wallet. Indexed News and Jobs read prebuilt corpora. Live SKUs fetch public pages at request time. Per-source pins are in the catalog.
Does an API request crawl a publisher or employer site?
Indexed News and Jobs read Clair's prebuilt indexes. Live endpoints (Google Search, Google News, article scrapes, Glassdoor, Trustpilot, Product Hunt, website contacts) fetch public pages at request time. Callers never supply a URL for us to crawl except the documented domain or query parameters for those SKUs.
How does pagination work?
Collection endpoints return opaque cursors bound to the query, filters, and ordering that created them. Continue with the same inputs until next_cursor is null.
One key covers the catalog.
Google Search, News, Jobs, Website Contacts, Trustpilot, Product Hunt, and the rest of the catalog share the same dashboard, wallet, and rate limit. Create an account to get 250 free credits.
