Thanks to your work, I had no problem using mlx-vlm to convert the ds4sd/SmolDocling-256M-preview model to MLX and your object_pointing.ipynb example took me the rest of the way, helping me quickly migrate their Tranformers walkthrough to mlx-vlm.
