I'd like to suggest for us using a water-cooled spindle, a temperature/flow sensor we install in the water-cooling plumbing and feed back info in the GUI. By monitoring the spindle temp and water flow, an alarm could be set to halt the spindle if alarm conditions are met.
For an air-cooled spindle, a temperature sensor is attached to the spindle, and an alarm is set to halt the spindle should the alarm condition be met. Again, temp monitoring in the GUI.
Would there be a way to prevent the spindle from stalling through Modbus?
