I instanciated my own twirk, but didn't use the line reader, but have a class wrapping it for future configurability.
I didn't know you need the # for the communication part and so on, which is why my messages at first didn't arrive in the channel chat.
Since it is basically a constant and you need it whenever you use your username, why not make it maybe a prefix constant or add it to the username string when you instanciate the twirk.
This way people using your library don't have to deal with it.
