Compact Session is not working properly #14088

Description

most of the time it throws error and sometime it doest throw error but the context size on header remains same.

Steps to reproduce

1. when context size was 78,427, i clicked the compact session button.
2. i saw multiple of reasoning boxes, after 2 to 3 minutes, it said 'Compaction worker returned an empty response'
