Office Network Documentation

This is a small office LAN I built and documented in Packet Tracer.
It includes 5 PCs, a file server, a shared printer, a router, and a switch.

The purpose was to create a clear diagram, assign static IPs, and show which device is plugged into which port.

Network Setup

  • All devices use the 192.168.10.0/24 network
  • Static IPs are used (no DHCP or VLANs)
  • Each device is labeled with its IP, port number, and gateway

Files in this project

  • Network Diagram.png — shows the full network layout with labels
  • IP Address Table.md — lists each device, its IP, subnet, gateway, and port
  • README.md — this explanation file
  • Packet Tracer File — the original file used to set up the network

What I practiced

  • IP planning
  • Making a clean network diagram
  • Device-to-port mapping
  • Writing basic documentation
