Symbol encoding doesn't work, breaking dingbat fonts like webdings

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Add a label with a dingbat font (webdings regular), and it will show a rectangle instead of the desired dingbat

Expected behavior
Dingbat shown in the label.
