first of all, thank you very much for that great work. I am using your code on raspbian and reading the values via mosquitto into openhab.
The only issue i have now, is that the sunlight measurement is being disturbed by the LED which is flashing during READ.
Please check this image:

two times the value is correct, the next two times it is not.

Do you have any hint, how to disable or delay the flashing LED?
