Yes. My system is in English. Windows 11 has Windows Display Language of 'English(Canada)' and preferred language of 'English(Canada)' and 'English(United States)'. In BleachBit system Information it indicates: "locale.getlocale = ('en_CA', 'ISO8859-1')".

1. BleachBit 5.0.0.2936 installed for my user only
2. I installed it using winget

The issue does not appear anymore after reinstalling manually for all users

I'm glad to hear 2974 helped.

Explanation: You may have unpacked the original 5.0.0 over the old 4.6.2 version, and this would leave libintl-8.dll. The correct DLL name changed to intl-8.dll in 5.0.0, but version 5.0.0 would try to load that dll, causing the issue. Newer builds such as 2974 won't try to load the wrong DLL, but it's a good practice to do clean install. With portable, you may want to keep bleachbit.ini to preserve your settings. Keep *.xml CleanerML files you created or modified.
