Current Issue

The spinner loading icons are nice to look at but don't really give me any indication of how much progress has been made. I am seeing this as an issue largely when creating a new release and uploading a large number of binary files. It can take around 30 minutes to upload but I am never sure if there is an issue, or whether the internet connection is slow due to no details being given.

Proposed solution

Add context next to the spinner icon such as percentage uploaded, number of files uploaded or estimated time and connection speed.

For example, I like the level of detail scp gives when uploading, though this could be simplified if necessary.
