How they are winning:

• The pull requests are approve frequently on usaco-guide's github.
• They offer bounties for certain article to be produced (up to $50 USD).
• They seem to be supported by sponsors (joincpi.org)
• The sponsoring organization is a registered 501 (c)(3) which allows donors for tax deductible donations.
• They offer certified volunteer hours to some contributors.

Also, it's unclear on what our web traffic is. This should be at least be available to maintainers.
