Kube-state-metrics reports kube_pod_status_reason which indicates the reason (Evicted, NodeAffinity, NodeLost, Shutdown, UnexpectedAdmissionError) that a pod may not be in a desired state. This information is really useful because such information may not be present in a collected event.
