gunicorn이나 uvicorn과 같은 단어들을 반드시 한글로 표현 할 필요는 없습니다. 영어 그대로 적어도 되며, 이는 각 PR의 리뷰에서 얘기하면 좋을것 같습니다.

I want to discuss the word, Path Operation translated 경로 동작.
Is there any reason that you translate Operation to 동작?

Because 동작 is used to define the movement of living things such as human and 작동 is used to define the movement of machines.

So, I think it would be better to translate Operation to 작동 even it fits to use with HTTP methods such as GET, POST, etc.

It is better to check the 국립국어원: <동작과 작동 구분> 질문에 대한 답변

I think it would be better to update the guideline #2017 to add the encouragement of using less English, like Using less English as you can.

I review #4019 and there are lots of words in English such as markdown, pull request, python etc.

Even those words are proper noun, could be translated as 마크다운, 풀 리퀘스트, 파이썬 for consistency.

Any suggestions and ideas would be welcome 😆

I think it would be better to update the guideline #2017 to add the recommendation to join the FastAPI discord and communicate in #korean channel to discuss the translation or etc.

At the last of many chapters, Recap translated as 요약 so i just followed it.

And, I named as

gunicorn -> 규니콘
uvicorn -> 유비콘
docker -> 도커
kubernetes -> 쿠버네티스
worker process -> 워커프로세스

📢 Update on Translations

We're updating the way we handle documentation translations.

Until now, we invited community members to translate pages via pull requests, which were then reviewed by at least two native speakers. While this has helped bring FastAPI to many more users, we’ve also run into several challenges - some languages have only a few translated pages, others are outdated and hard to maintain over time.
To improve this, we’re working on automation tools 🤖 to manage translations more efficiently. Once ready, documentation will be machine-translated and still reviewed by at least two native speakers ✅ before publishing. This will allow us to keep translations up-to-date while reducing the review burden on maintainers.

What’s changing now:

• 🚫 We’re no longer accepting new community-submitted translation PRs.

• ⏳ Existing open PRs will be reviewed and can still be merged if completed within the next 3 weeks (since July 11 2025).

• 🌐 In the future, we will only support languages where at least three active native speakers are available to review and maintain translations.

This transition will help us keep translations more consistent and timely while better supporting our contributors 🙌. Thank you to everyone who has contributed so far - your help has been invaluable! 💖
