Can I change the ticker symbol for all activities or replace a holding? #7478

I entered all the activities against the wrong the ticker symbol. It's a mutual fund so I entered them all against the wrong series. I only noticed recently because my broker statements are more detailed. Is there a way to easily update all the activities to use the correct ticker symbol? Or update the holding and have it correct all the activities? |

So I tried creating a new account and importing all the activities there, with the two tickers corrected, and that works now (the market value ressembles my broker statements and Yahoo's values). But I can't seem to delete the old account! How do I delete the old account so I only have the one with the correct holdings?

To delete an account, filter by that account under Activities and delete all of its activities. Once the account is empty, you can delete it from Accounts. |

Thanks 🙏 Can I suggest Ghostfolio would really benefit from some expanded documentation. I really like the it but I'm having a lot of trouble getting past basics because it's a lot of trial and error and retrial and asking for help and waiting. Meanwhile there's a couple other portfolio trackers I'm testing that I'm further ahead because everything I do - which is nothing crazy - is well documented. |
