Agreed, also I'll summarize my experience with Spec-kit + Claude so far (project is default node+react fullstack):
As a result, after "completing" a task with spec-kit I have to re-evaluate every task, and basically go with "make sure it actually works and is tested properly..." Maybe I'm using it wrong, but at this point I'm removing spec-kit from my AI-slop-projetcs, and switch to regular vibing with Claude. |

I ran into the exact same issue! From software testing background, I'm now trying to integrate Behavior Driven Development (BDD), Test Driven Development (TDD), API Design First approach, into SDD and have a feeling that they might resonate well together. Here's why:
With these 3 approach combines at appropriate level of detail, I hope we can create significant guardrails that guides the AI to always correct itself! |

I took a note from the Let It Cook episode. Den said at the time that sometimes you need to simply reply, "Check off the completed tasks and continue". I find myself doing this bit in Copilot CLI also to have the coding complete 100% |

Is it just me? When using the latest verison of specify with VSC, the tool seems to be very "lazy".
At the final
/implementstage, it only creates scaffolding codes, no real implementation.Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
