Feedback

Hello,

one thing that has been bothering me for years with Home Assistant is the lack of the option to display thumbnails in the media browser for my own media.
e.g. when I take pictures or video with "camera.snapshot", or e.g. the videos of the official Reolink integration of the doorbell.
No matter where, everything that was not created by frigate, for example, has no thumbnails.
Countless users have repeatedly raised this problem over the last 5 years, but have never received an answer.

So would someone please be so kind and explain to us how we can create thumbnails ourselves, or what is necessary for this?
Or at least, why its not possible. I mean there must be a way, frigate can do it. :)

Thanks, greetz Stefan
