π‘ What:
Refactored
loadArticles,handleSearch, andrenderProfileinwiki_rabbithole/app.jsto useDocumentFragmentfor batching DOM insertions.Modified
createFeedItemandcreateBookmarkItemto return elements instead of appending them directly.π― Why:
The previous implementation appended elements to the live DOM one by one inside loops. This caused unnecessary reflows and repaints (layout thrashing) for every item added.
π Impact:
Reduces N reflows to 1 reflow per batch of items loaded. Improves rendering performance, especially on lower-end devices during infinite scroll and initial load.
π¬ Measurement:
Verified visually that the feed, search results, and bookmarks still render correctly.
