While libm can be linked on generating final executable, it's still preferred to link it against the library itself to better represent the dependency hierarchy.

I appreciate the effort, but I'd prefer to address these changes separately instead of all bundled into one PR like this. There are also some weird commits in this PR that can't be accepted, e.g. 45de784 |
