After executing brew install ksnip successfully , the application does not work.
It appears on Applications folder but the content is empty. It shows the greyed forbidden icon.

Yes, I believe you are facing this issue #653
It has been fixed already for 1.9.1 but the version hasn't been released yet due to CI migration.
You can trying the continuous build for the github release page.
