I also want this feature for quickly managing the screenshots. Although the delete option has been added, it might be still cumbersome. Just wondering whether a hotkey can be assigned to the deleting behavior, such as Ctrl + Delete.

I usually take screenshots with Shutter, and its interface lets me delete the picture by hitting the Delete key, with an option to not ask again for confirmation.
It is useful to me because when I am done with the captured pic, I don't have to waste time going into the folder and deleting it.
A ctrl-delete would suit me too.
