Super + Scroll Up/Down to resize #2677

|
I'm trying to implement a way to hold super/win while scrolling to resize a window in all directions at once. <!-- SCROLL RESIZE -->
<mousebind button="W-S" action="Scroll" direction="Up">
<action name="ResizeRelative" left="15%" right="15%" top="15%" bottom="15%" />
</mousebind>
<mousebind button="W-S" direction="Down" action="Scroll">
<action name="ResizeRelative" left="-15%" right="-15%" top="-15%" bottom="-15%" />
</mousebind>But it seems to ignore the modifier and causes resizing whenever I scroll. I'm guessing I need to have a key of some kind defined in the button field, not just a modifier but is there a way around it? |

Try this instead: <context name="Frame">
<mousebind direction="W-S-Down" action="Scroll">
<action name="ResizeRelative" left="10%" right="10%" top="10%" bottom="10%" />
</mousebind>
<mousebind direction="W-S-Up" action="Scroll">
<action name="ResizeRelative" left="-10%" right="-10%" top="-10%" bottom="-10%" />
</mousebind>
</contextThis should allow resizing with Super + Shift + mouse wheel |

Doesn't appear to work for me strangely. Seems like maybe it is intercepting the binding but nothing seems to happen in response. Does it work for you? |

So as I understand it, the reason for direction existing is because we also have Left/Right as physical buttons of the mouse? Direction basically just changes the meaning of Left/Right to directions as opposed to physical buttons? (edit: meant to reply to ongoing thread) |

yes, i copied it straight out of my nested test instance config. The full rc.xml would be
