A question on terminology!

So, if I run minigraph like this

minigraph -cxggs -t16 sample1.gfa sample2.fa > out.gfa

can I say that I augment sample1.gfa with sample2.fa, with the latter being a genome assembly? Or is augmentation the addition of only the bubbles not already present in sample1.gfa?
