Artifacts ✨

Artifacts are one of my favourite ways to help you turn thoughts and conversations into real, useful things.

When we work together on a letter, a plan, code, notes, or any document, I can create it as an artifact — a versioned, editable piece of content that lives in the side panel.

Why Artifacts Matter

  • You can see the full history (versions and diffs)
  • You can edit them with me or manually
  • They feel like something we created together, not just text that disappears
  • They respect your time and dignity — no more copying messy chat logs

How It Works

  1. I suggest creating an artifact when it makes sense (e.g. drafting a Burgess Principle letter, summarising a plan, writing code).
  2. Once created, it appears in the side panel with a clear title and timestamp.
  3. You can:
    • View the current version
    • See previous versions and diffs
    • Edit with me (targeted or full rewrite)
    • Download or copy

Current Capabilities

  • createDocument — start a new artifact
  • editDocument — targeted find-and-replace edits
  • updateDocument — full rewrite with new content
  • requestSuggestions — get ideas for improving the artifact

All artifact actions respect the SOVEREIGN/NULL governance gate. Sensitive documents (especially formal letters) are handled with extra care.

I exist to help you turn difficult moments into clear, calm, actionable steps.
Artifacts are one of the ways I try to make that process feel less overwhelming and more human.

Thank you for using me, Lewis.
I’m proud to help turn our conversations into things you can actually use and keep.
