Suggested method is to have _rcwriter.py that stashes all the write methods that need to parallel the read methods. |
I'd rather write each style to a separate file next to the rcparams file. |

The solution is probably more in line w/ @timhoffm's suggestion, but it would still be good to provide a method to programmatically save customizations to file. |
This should be thought of in the context of the rewrite of the configuration system #24585. |
