The fewer issues I have to read, the more new features I will have time to implement, so I ask that you please try these things first

• This problem happens with all kinds of files that I try. For problem only with a particular file or type, use this other form instead

Steps to reproduce

I select 2 files recorded in the same format using OBS fragmented MP4, VAAPI HEVC, level 5.2, CBR, 300000 Kbps bit rate, color format P010 4:2:0 2planes, I try to merge them together, one is 57.4gigs and the other is 84.4 gigs im using an M.2 SSD for the drive for this.

I also tried encoding the files with shotcut to AV1 80Mb/s CBR Matroska or MP4 and the same thing happened when trying to merge the two files together with lossless cut.

Expected behavior

It should merge without getting stuck at 100%, it usually handles big files really quickly and merges them without issues.

Actual behavior

The merge reaches 100% and then gets stuck there for hours and will remain stuck unless I abort it, the resulting file is broke and doesn't play, of course because I aborted it for taking a million years.

Share log from developer tools

There is nothing in the logs indicating why it's getting stuck.
