Hi,

before opening am issue, I wanted to kindly ask if my problem is maybe a known change or potentially misconfiguration. I read the release notes and looked for similar issues.

We are using nginx as a static content server, service a web application (HTML, CSS, JS, the usual).

After updating our base image from nginx 1.27.2 to 1.27.3, our UI stopped working. I did some investigation and found something very weird.

• The files are correct before adding them to image
• Opening shell inside the running nginx container shows the file is correct on the file system
• In the browser, the responses are corrupted. The HTML works (but is quite small, SPA)
• The JS and CSS are both corrupted and cannot be interpreted by the browser
• Corrupted specifically means, the files have the correct file size but the content is scrambled
• I counted the bytes of the first scrabled segment and its 2^15 bytes which are shifted to some other location in the file
• No data is lost / gone, it's just in a wrong place

We have not change our configuration but only the nginx version.

Does that ring any bell to anyone? What could lead to that?
