Describe the bug

In several versions of 2.x, after turning on the option "use Rosetta to run Intel code", compiling Rust using cargo build in a Debian 12 virtual machine will get stuck and will not work. You must turn off the option to complete the compilation. Previous 1.x versions did not have this problem.
