Error on installation Error - "was not quarantined properly" #2412

I am having an issue with utilising brew after my upgrade to Monterey. On random casks I am having an error on installing

for example

 brew install google-chrome --debug --verbose --force

I have run it again with a --force --debug --verify and this is what is returned.

I have gone as far as uninstalling brew and then rm -rf /opt/homebrew and then reinstalling again.

Thanks that worked, not sure how I missed that argument.

From what I can read this has to do with bypassing gatekeeper, and by bypassing quarantine I may have to ctrl click on initial run. Do you see any issues with running this ad-hoc as required to install the applications? Or should keep looking for a better fix?

Error: Calling the --[no-]quarantine switch is disabled! There is no replacement.
